This award recognises a managing partner, founder or senior leader who has set the direction of an accountancy practice, grown it responsibly and built a strong team. Judges look for the leader's own decisions and their effect on clients, people and the firm.

Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures and, where possible, client or colleague evidence. Client names and commercially sensitive numbers may be anonymised or given as percentages and ranges, and nothing in an entry is ever shared beyond the judging panel. Judges consider the size of the practice or team, so sole practitioners and smaller firms compete on equal terms.
